Layers upon layers. This body of work begins to expose what lies beneath. The action it takes to reveal what has already taken place, almost looking into the past of where the painting has come from in order to see where it currently exists. As painting evolves there are many lost treasure hidden beneath the surface of what seems to be countless layers and endless amounts of time dedicated to process. Within each of these paintings I hope to expose those cryptic messages of process that are masked with promise of evolution.
